My Wedding Day

The time I spent with my father for years
Never expressing my love for him
Making me unease
The moment I realised
It’s time to go

This transition seems easy to the rest
As he is the one with I obsessed
But the love I have never expressed
Is the reason for unrest

The time is coming closer
Balance is all I need
Never ask I to pick either
As I am comfortable in-between
