Dear Knight in Shining Armour

October 25, 2025

Once a girl told me to shut up,
Once a girl told me that burqa-clad women are only capable of speaking through Hindu women,
So here I’m being grateful!
Grateful to savarnas, men, cisgenders, straight people, abled-bodied and abled-minded, neurotypical and any left out nice guys-

Please protect me the way you protect cows
Please represent us as victims and survivors
Please make a check-list of good and bad with nothing in-between
Please look at the depressed, the anxious, the distorted personality,
Who haven’t killed themselves today
Please take our voice boxes
It’s not like we needed it anyway
Please bask under the spotlight
Some of us will be drowning in icy waters
Please don’t shatter your scheme
No one will hear our scream.

Never let anyone question you,
Smack them to shut up,
Hang them upside-down to make them listen
You always knew better.

Dear knight in shining armour,
I’m your Satan,
I’m your test in a desert,
But this time this test won’t end up with Zamzam
I’ll be Thomas who shall never believe you
Until I poke to examine deepness of your wounds.
There’re too many Christs
But without their crosses.
