Neeru

Neeru is an Indian poet and translator. She is an Assistant professor at the University of Delhi. She has a BA, MA and M.Phil. in English Literature from the University of Delhi. Her poem has recently been a part of an anthology.

Cleansing

The dried yellowed leaf, Disowned by the rigid tree, Still dream of the green, Of the roots and seed. Brown was all around, Or to put it right it was black, But the leaf still saw green, Inside out all dreamy green.
