Born in the Kinniya, Sri Lanka. Firozkhan's father, Jamaldeen, is an ordinary fisherman. His mother is Raguma. As a graduate and a poet who has been engaged in creative writing for the past nineteen years, he has published nine poetry collections.
His poems come from the heart of a restive mind of a modern man caught in the chaotic currents of contemporary life, reflecting his dreams and aspirations, daydreams and nightmares.
