Renounce, renounce and renounce!
All that makes me feel
like a frantic caged bird,
fluttering and shrieking
for escape —— from the morsels
It feeds upon,
from its own filth
that pollutes the cage,
and from the gentle breeze
that mockingly caresses its trapped wings!
