Whispering Moon

January 25, 2019

Skies of shimmering gold
And blue
There is a garden among the
Trees
The dew on leaves of ivy fluttering
Silently shading under the sunbeam
A bird on a bough

Playing the musical note on a flute: “I go where love and peace resides”.

A long cloud across the sunset
Like ribbon rippling over the golden
Sea
The songs of birds call me
With no words
Wake The echoes in my mind
Like flowers blooming like fire

I stand between the half lit
Half dark corner as the
Moon of the whispering
Evening climbs higher and
Piercing moonbeams through
The windows of my
silhouetted home.
